Fashionistas take centre stage

Date: 3rd April 2011

The Grampians Estate bubbly flowed freely and a touch of glamour once again featured at Central Park in the 2011 Driscoll, McIllree & Dickinson Fashions on the Field.

Stawell local Caitlin Cooper was crowned the winner, awarded the Billie Jo Peterson memorial sash, $1000 first prize and a bottle of Grampians Estate Kelly’s Welcome Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay for her sophisticated outfit.

Sally Jamieson (Williamstown) and Tara Domaschenz (Mt Clear) finished runner’s up, whilst Linda Allen (Elwood) won Hat of the Day.

Blake MacMillan from Glen Iris was named the inaugural Man of the Day.

Fashions on the Field will return in 2012 – register at the tent on Saturday and be ready to strut your stuff in front of the judges on the red carpet at 3:00pm. The parade and presentations will be held on the track at 3:40pm.

Other activities include a fashion parade showcasing local designers at 2:30pm, live music throughout the afternoon, and ladies don’t forget to collect your free glass of sparkling wine in the Grampians Estate wine enclosure.
