Gary and his brother Roger have been a significant force in distance running at Stawell for many years.<\/p>\n
Gary’s first win was in the 1986 Victree Backmarkers 1600m.<\/p>\n
Two years later he won the Sportsworld 800m and in 1989 he came second in the Delgety 3200m. 1994 was a big year as he took out the Delgety and came second in the Stawell Handicap 1600m.<\/p>\n
