Fashions Day

By completing the Fashions at Central Park registration form, you agree to the following: 1. Eligibility • The competition is called “Fashions at Central Park” and is held annually at the Powercor Stawell Gift on Easter Saturday. • Open to people of all genders, aged 16 years and over. • For the purpose of the Competition, best dressed is defined as a well-considered special occasion race day outfit, styled by the eligible entrant. To be complete, the outfit should also showcase millinery and complementary accessories (jewellery, shoes, bag, gloves – as preferred) • All travel and accommodation expenses incurred by an entrant in relation to the • competition are the sole responsibility of the entrant. 2. Entry and Registration • There is no fee to enter the Fashions at Central Park competition. • Event entry ticket mut be purchased to enter the ground for participation in the event. • Registrations are available online up to one month prior to the event or from 2.00PM at the Fashions at Central Park marquee, behind the Number 1 Grandstand on the day of the Event. • Online entries must be received by 3.00PM on the Thursday prior to the event to allow for processing. Entries after this will only be accepted on the day at the event marquee. • All entrants will be given a registration number to display until the winners are announced. • Entries close at 3.15PM. Judging begins at 3.30PM. 3. Judging Process • A judging panel will be appointed by the Stawell Athletic Club and Stawell Gift Event • Management Ltd. • The Judges identities will remain confidential • The Judges decision is final and binding; no correspondence will be entered into. 4. Judging Criteria Entrants will be judged on: • Elegance and classic carnival race wear • Coordination and attention to detail (including accessories) • The use of millinery (hats, fascinators, headbands, tiaras, flower laurels, hair • scarves etc) • Grooming and deportment • Season appropriate attire (Autumn) 5. Competition Categories • Best dressed Female • Best dressed Gent • Best Millinery of the Day 6. Consent for Media Use By entering, you agree and consent to: • The entrant acknowledges that the Stawell Athletic Club, Stawell Gift Event • Management and organisers including Mana Group Australasia Pty Ltd will own the copyright in all photographs, video and selected images produced as part of the competition, and may use such photographs, videos and images as they see fit, including in any marketing, media or promotional materials in all form of media worldwide, including digital platforms, for promotion or archival purposes. • You release these organisations from any claims regarding the use of your image, name or likeness. • No compensation or approvals will be required for this use. • All entrants may be required to participate in media opportunities including but not limited to, interviews video recordings or any other medium as required by the SGEM or their representatives. 7. Conduct • Entrants must conduct themselves respectfully. • Organisers may disqualify any participant behaving inappropriately or breaching the terms. • Entrants must not in any way disparage or make derogatory comments in any form (whether verbally, electronically or otherwise) about the event organisers; Stawell Athletic Club, Stawell gift Event Management Ltd, Mana Group Australasia Pty Ltd, the Competition, the Judges or other entrants at any time. • If an entrant is seen or heard to be doing so, they will be immediately disqualified from the Competition and all future competitions run or promoted by the organisers. • They may be eligible to enter the event again after a disqualification period, as determined by the Board of Directors of Stawell Gift Event Management Ltd. 8. Prizes • The winners will be announced by the Event Co-Ordinator on the day of the event. • Prizes will be announced on the day but may not be distributed to the winners until the conclusion of the Powercor Stawell Gift Event and no later than 10 days following the event final. • Prizes, other than those paid in cash are not redeemable for cash and are not transferrable. • If the Stawell Athletic Club, Stawell Gift Event Management Ltd, after an entrant has won a Prize, determines that the entrant has not complied with the terms and conditions or that the entry is otherwise invalid for any reason, the entrant will have no entitlement to the prize, even if they have been announced the winner. That entrant will be required to return, refund or otherwise make restitution of their prize. 9. Additional Conditions • The event may be changed, postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the organisers. The organisers will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind to Entrants arising out of any resultant action taken by the organisers. • All entrants agree to comply with these Terms and any further instructions provided on the day. 10.
