T. BENNETT

Bennett won the Miners Handicap in 1880 and followed up in 1884 with wins in both the Stawell Handicap and the Mile Handicap.

He almost achieved the same double in 1887 when he again won the Mile Handicap and came second in the Stawell Handicap.  In 1881 he came third in the Stawell Handicap.
